@# Brother HL 1450 Laser Printer

I have had nothing but problems with mine. It uses a limited number of warning lights to indicate a multitude of problems by lighting them in different combinations; CONFUSING! It's very, very finicky with replacement cartridges and feeding different weights of paper. I had to continuously manually reset mine and clear feed problems and it's been to the shop three times in 2 years and now I'm informed it has "major board problems too expensive to fix"!! It's a stinker alright. Now I have two cartridges for it left and Brother has seen fit to update its product line to a new model HL-2040 which is an updated 1450 except, of course, it doesn't use the same cartridges; ughh!!! Thanks Brother; you get a "Got you" on this one.
